Flashing red Temp light

Looking for some advice really,

Got into the Lcr yesterday morning and started her as normal, but heard a loud bleep and the temp warning light was flashing like it was on a misson..

so killed the engine, popped the hood and had a look, no water leaks, no lose hoses.

Started her up again and no problems so im puzzled?

alright mate check your water level i had the same problem when i got my lcr loud bleeping and water needle right over to the right

will be the sensor in the expansion tank.common problem

Mine only happened when a cold morning, but was the sensor.
Sensor was fixed for free buy stealer under warranty.

mine happened turned out to be a loose plug to the expansion tank. As it was just after cambelt work looks like it did not get clipped on properly. Did scare the crap out of me when it came on

Mine does it when cold, switch it off then on again and it should go away

My needle didnt move at all.

Plus ive had no work done or anything...although it was a cold morning

get it checked of fixed - turning off engine was fine for me at first - but not the solution, That Beep is the most enoying thing. Water bottle low- ARRRGGHHHH

Had my header tank changed under warranty for this a couple of weeks ago. 20 minute job, did it while I waited.

I know. I'm a lazy git and haven't had a chance to get it sorted. In a months time it will be 6 months before I have to worry about it again though. (I.e. Until November when it gets cold again)

just needs a little more water in the radiator bottle lad come on its not that hard is it do you not listen to my problems at the meets
