I was driving along yesterday after not using my cupra for a few days and whilst the car was cold i was drving gently. i pulled out and revved the car to about 3.5 k and it started to miss really heavily, and then the orange engine warning light and the stop light began to flash on the dash board. I managed to limp it somewhere safe and when i stopped the car there was a strange eggy type smell coming from the car asd well as a lot of smoke. I left the car for a few hours and the smell has gone but its still vibrating badly as if its dropped a cylinder or something!!
Is it possible it could be something simple like a knackered coil pack??
