flashing dash

can anyone help?
i've got leon cupra 01 plate, parked car up for a few hours came back whole of dash board flashing + constant bleeping, started car and flashing/ bleeping stopped, drove home no problems, turned off ignition bleeping and flashing started up agian and still doing it.

it is mate basically everything you can see through the steering wheel is flashing

sound like an electrical short.. weird that all lights go.

try resetting the ecu see if that rids them.

any running issues

no running fine how do i reset the ecu?

disconnect the -tive terminal on battery for 30 mins... make sure you have the radio code though.

i had this happen on my 1st leon but i left for a few weeks an it an it went away an then part exchanged my car, my friend had happen on his tt an he needed to change his clocks but have heard other people say its something to do with the earth cable near battery so that may be worth a try,

When I got my LCR, the rec counter backlight kept flickering on and off. It was under warranty luckily as the whole clock unit needed to be replaced.

it was something to do with the -tive terminal/cable but what i dont know i undid the nut and cheked the dash on flashing so did the nut back up still on flashing i did not remove the cable from the terminal or move it in any way so i dont know what it was or what i did
but it worked

prob just made the conection good again, if happens again may be worth rubbing it down an cleaning it up a bit.

its started agian about 24 hours after it stoped i have had the -tive cable off half the dash and the dial's out still no luck in finding what is going on so now it looking like i get to spend some money in the garage lucky me

Check the earths down behind the battery, undo them clean and replace.
