Fk Grille - 98 Ibiza / Cordoba

I hav e bought an FK Grille for my 98 Cordoba, I finally got round to fitting it. Drilled the original off only to find that it dosent seem to fit, It look very similar, but slightly different and all the fiting are in a different place. The model I have is the FKGS077, I have contacted Gwent VW where i bought it from and they say its the only one they do between 96-99. But ihave seen loads of pics on her with the same grille as mine with Fk grille fitted. Can anyone sehd any light on this, was there 2 different grilles. Mine is an SX model

what year Cordoba mate ?!?

I think some of the Cordy SX grilles were stilghtly different to the Ibiza ones. Some even had the 'S' molded into the grille 'frame' rather than being part of the centre grille section.

Theirs a difference on the grills between 96 and 98, I suspect yours is one in between

But not in the way that Andy's thinking.

they all did between 93-95,after 95 it gets a bit hit and miss as to what fits
