On the SEAT website fitting times are referred to in the following format:

  • (any number) TU

What does this mean in simple english?

The item im actually looking at is the armrest, the fitting time for this is 25TU.

iam going to buy one soon, appartently fitting is easy diy. someone else here has fitted diy too.comes with instructions too.

That was my worry, i dont want to be drilling holes in my shiny new leon!

Im sure that if i did i found only fcuk it up!

lol. Once you fited the armrest you won`t see the holes, but if you want to take it off the holes will be obviously.

Yeah i know that lol

but i think im am liable to put the holes in the wrong place!

DIY is not my thing!!

How much would SEAT charge to fit it? Or is that included in the price of the armrest!

my dealer advised 1hr to 1hr30 for fitting it? didn't give a price, but they wanted £27.50 to fit the plastic grill to the front of the car so the armrest will be double + if you ask me.I will try it myself 1st.

The plastic grill in the front is difficult, it`s a fact. But the armrest is really easy. It takes 10 minutes maxium. I think they won`t charge money to insert the armrest... maybe...lol
