1200 plus even with second hand parts ?? .. and there on mk1 fr have team dynamics alloys need spacers.. where do i get the custom carriers and hoses ?
thought as much matey.. so theres some calipers on ebay at the moment for the boxter s. so if i was to need carriers and hoses where would i get these ?
if you want new parts then your looking at £1200ish to put together your own kit with porsche calipers being the most expensive part (theres a porsche spares website that sell the exact calipers, new for £400 each), i priced up the job last month but never went through with it, you can buy kits from the likes of awesome for £800 but they dont come with pads.
As for the full job done for £500, you might have done yours for £500 mate but that doesnt nessesarily mean eveyone can.
And if buying from ebay do a search on here for the exact calipers you need so you can cross reference the part numbers and as james walker has said be careful fitment wise if you cant find the numbers because its rear calipers you need.
Yeh they dont look like brembo ones though, look like remanufactured. Hoses, James said Bill does them so drop him a PM or post in his section Badger5 and his username is Ibizacupra.
not being brembo does this pose a problem ?? or should they be ok ?? .. also is it boxster calipers only that fit ? or can i get away with any others 944 etc.. cheers for all the help guys ..
its a mk1 fr.. im hoping theyl just fit behind my pro race 17s. i know i need spacers...i could just get seat brembos but i like the idea of the porsche logo showing.
