Fitting Parrot LS3200 to MK2 Leon

My first post - took possession of a Mk2 Leon FR TDi a couple of weeks ago but regret not going for bluetooth (pre-reg on the forecourt called to me)...:)

Looking around I fancy the Parrot LS3200 but want either a reliable fitter or a bit of help / advice if it's a possible DIY job.

I've seen the posts around DIY fitting in a MK1 Leon - is it any harder in Mk2? I've tried the radio removal instructions but didn't quite manage to get it out (but sure I can with a bit of perseverence).....

Took it to Halfords and they fiddled for a bit but bottled it an wouldn't do the job.

I can do it myself for for about £150 or get it fitted for between £200 - £250.

Any advice welcome!!!

simple job to do its just a case of pulling out head unit ,remove block ( speaker and power) and plugging in new loom no cutting ect required, but i found the hard bit was locating a place to put all the parrot bits ie bluetooth reciver ect(fitted mine to my van) not sure how much room there is at the back of head unit area, but make sure it is all well secured you dont want any rattles behind your dash, hardest part is routing the mike, all in all about a hours work. goodluck

Do you not need to buy an adapter lead to connect the iso connectors of the parrot into the back of the stereo? I have a 3000 kit but haven't got round to trying to fit it yet in mine. I have the rattle in the dash and want to leave it to the dealers to fix before I fit the kit in case they try to blame the rattle on the car kit!

I have the ck3100 fitted to my FR, unit is mounted at the bottom of the stereo, and the mic on the a-pillar near the top where there is joint between the fabrics.just above eye level.
