Right im half way through at the moment, got the rears done easy was not the word because it was more simple than that. straight swap in and out...

The fronts not so good so far i cant get the bolts that hold the strut by the brake disc to move sprayed a load of wd40 on them but they wont give up so now im just about to go to halfrauds in my now low at the rear car to pick up a 18mm 1/2 drive because i havent got one so i can fit it to my long bar i got and see if i can get those babys cracked...:)

Im using my original top mounts aswell so after that i got to break out the spring clamps and get winding takes ages...

Get the nuts loosened on them first, then you will need another spanner or something to hold the bolt while you undo the nut ;)

You better hope that the captive nuts on your top mounts aren't knackered or you will have a job getting them off, and will have to wait to get new top mounts ;)

I would always suggest getting new top mounts... For the amount you're paying on coilovers, to skimp on something that costs £15 tops...

Right well im not happy...Managed to get the bolts undone and stut out fine...

But still havent managed to do the fronts i have 1 tool stoping me because i havent got the right size...

Ive got 4 swan neck spanners and are any the right size...NO [:@]

Why do seat insist on putting odd size bolts ect on things...I found a socket that fitted it perfect 13/16 which also said 20.6mm whats wrong with just 20mm or 21mm

Back down to halfrauds i thought they should have to size i need...did they :censored: they dont even sell them...so now job for tomorow is to try and find tool in the right size...

So for now ive had to put the old strut back on so i can try and sort it out tomorow.:(
