right long story short. i might be leave my job.. which means my company mk4 cupra will be going back. seen a few nice mk3's and as some of u know my mate bought one at the weekend. the only problem is i cant drive it. lol

being 6ft 5 i have to have th seat all the way back and decked to the ground and the steering wheel dont go high enough it catches my knee's. i dont have this problem with my mk4. so can i fit the adjustable steering column from that to the mk3? so not only do i get up and down but in and out too :)

thanks for ur help

Yeah I'm surprised you don't have enough room as well, I'm 6ft2 and my seat's not even all the way back in my ideal position.

Failing that, you could maybe consider buying a Fiat Seicento, I have a friend who's 6ft6 and swears it's comfortable

Lower the base of the seat and bring the back of the seat up a bit, I find that gives much more leg room. Im surprised you dont fit though as Im not far off your height

I'm 6f6 and i just about fit. Knee's just miss the wheel.
Seat all the way back, base as low as it will go and the back of the seat up right.

No prob
