Fitting Mk4 Curpa front + back bumpers

How easy is it to install the Mk4 cupra front and back bumpers on a FR? iv just recived the bumpers and grills from dave @ IMG (Thanks very much) im just wondereing if anyone has a guide to fit them???

Also can the screws off the existing bumper be used for the new? or will i need to by all new fixings

use all the old screws, you will need to improvise on a couple like the fog light covers and toeing eye cover.

Its a piss of piss to do though. The only hard bit is geting the grill into the front bumper without breaking it or scratching your freshly painted bumpers.

does the grill on the front go in before you fit the bumper or after???

before, oh and do't forget to remove the retainer strips ( the bars that run wher ethe grill should go.

What about the piece with goes on the back bumper that holds the number plate, do you fix that the the back bumper before you fit it or after the bumpers on??

thought it was all part of the bumper, never saw mine come off at all. so not sure what you mean

its the black section which holds the number plate and reflectors, not to worry iv figured it out now it just clips into the actual bumper its self.

I have just had the Cupra front bumper put on my FR......
I thought the Centre grill was a greyish colour (the same as the greyish Cupra side inserts) which is different to the FRs....maybe im wrong.

(Is this why some think the FR side grill inserts dont look good on the Cupra bumper because they are too black....?

All 3 grilles on the Cupra are silverish. I stuck to the standard S grille (later replaced to debadged) and the 2 FR ones. Colour matches that way.

i have been trying to remove the lower grills on the fr bumper, but they still seem atached. i have removed the two screws holding the centre piece in, but whats holding the two outer lower grills

hope some one can help
