Hello all. right well over the winter ive set myself a little project. Im going to put a mk3 cupra front end and also rear bumper on my car. Ive emailed a few scrap yards but im mainly going to be getting the parts new from seat. Ive got the main items sorted but will i need any fixtures and fittings? (brackets and impact pads) also what parts are standard for all mk3 ibizas? is it just the bumper, grill and headlamps that are different on the cupra version.

Also. Is there any more fabrication work involved other than making some radiator mounts? i.e bonnet release catch and cable?

Thanks in advance for the help! kyle

i dont think you can put mk3 bumpers straight on to a mk2.

you need the slam panel, as the headlights are a different shape, i think the list for the swap is:

mk3 lights
mk3 Grill
Slam Panel
Bumper
Wings
Bonnet

basically change all panels barr roof, door and rear quarters LMAO

oh, and boot

I know what the main parts i need are for the conversion but do i need any fittings for the bumper etc? mounting plates and impact pads? also is it just the radiator you have to make custom mounts for? what happens with the bonnet catch and cable?

if in doubt ask the dealer your getting parts from
although when i do mine (the front) will be off of a rear ended car

I was going to get most of my parts from a rear ended cupra but can't find any. I'm going to get all but the wings and slam panel new just so I know there mint!
