Fitting front components?

Having some front components fitted soon and was wondering what people have fitted in there front doors and whether they had any troubles with mounting depths at all.

Also does the glass come down close to the back of the speaker at all. Just tryin to judge clearance.

Having a set of Rainbow Components fitted.

Sorry mate, seems I have completely missed your thread. Yeah, like you said, components cant be too big. I had some 6.5" vibe components in my old 1.4 and the window wouldn't go all the way down. It stopped about 4cm from the bottom, then it hit the magnet of the speaker. I have managed to make the glass go all the way down, kind of. Because the doorcards didnt have any speaker holes to start of with. Once fitted I found out that if I were to leave the bottom left/right doorcard clips (near the speakers) unclipped, the doorcard would pop out a bit, allowing the glass to slide behind the magnet, rather than bang on top of it.

Alternatively you just fit some spacer rings.
