Take the vacuum feed of the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) Dont take it off the D/V

Feed it around the airbox and into the wireing loom box that goes into the pollen filter housing ( follow thr red cable in my picture)

Remove the pollen filter, behind the filter you will find a gromit

Push the pipe through here.
Now remove the glove box and route the pipe under the dash to where you want the guage

I took the electrical feed off the radio but you can cut into the fuse box on the side of the dash on the drivers side.

If your going to run an amp it might be wort running the cable for this at the same time to save takeing the glove box out again.

Fitted my boost gauge today was worried about doing it but easier that I thought it was going to be, I run it off the fpr and works fine wired into lights only connected live and earth cables found connecting orange cable dimmed my gauge lighting a little but it working good without it

Fitted mine on my lc to the vacuum on the dv, all my other turbo cars I've ran it from the dv on my lc I'm getting a reading of 1.1 bar what's the reason to use the for and not the dv???

I haven't got the answer myself but it's a good question as my mate said the same thing to me the other day... Apparently you don't get the real reading off the top of the dv :-/ I'm running mine off the top of the dv an gettin 10psi holding at 9 I'm guessin the reading can't be that far out

I have done the n249 bypass so my dv is now run off the manifold as is the fpr but took gauge out as it just didn't look right and now use the torque app

Not much just less pipework for things to go wrong and leaks I think it's ment to give a better Control over the dv
