Fitted Parrot and no CD Changer Crackles - Help!

As the title says I have fitted a Parrot CK3100 (awesome handsfree kit) into my Leon and now the CD Changer crackles, it still works but the sound is sh*te.

I have checked the connections etc the only thing I can think is that I have damaged the cable when try to fit all the gubbins behind the radio.

I've done a search and can only find one post relating to CD Changer Crackle but no solutions. Anyone else had a similar problem, its obviously either one of three things, CD Changer, HU or cable, I am hoping its only the cable.

Hi, I had this very problem when I fitted my CK3000 kit a few years back. Bad news is it never got resolved even when I booked it in for a service and that problem so I changed the stereo and eventually the cd changer to

That isn't what I wanted to hear! I disconnected the Parrot and the same thing happens so I'm sure its something I've done to either the radio or the cable. The slot in CD player and radio works fine.
