What a difference to the car it has made:)

I fitted the Turbodynamics stage 2, the turbo is quieter, smoother, more responsive with less lag and noticably quicker acceleration, such a different feel to the car, and less smoke..

ive also fitted a new uprated clutch (sachs) but ive a feeling my flywheel may need atention at some point in the future, a very slight rattle, but the car feels great:D

no, from turbodynamics.co.uk. I have now 124,000 miles on her now.
Bloody hell 124k on the standard flywheel. You should have changed it when the new clutch went in.

not to worry , it only took 30 mins to whip out the gearbox, it was still hot when on the ground:lol:
Blimey, thats quick, do you have to disasemble the sub frame to do it? Make sure you refit the clutch ok when doing it, i have seen so many at work come back under warranty because they have ****ed up installing it and then have clutch judder, or not engaging the gears.Although, sachs race products dont have warranty, so i wount see it anyway.;)

No you just unbolt, disconnect the shafts, undo the ball joint plate to pull wheel out of way and out it comes with a bit of a struggle not a whole lot of room..

The clutch is in and now it feels OEM, at first it would grab , ive don 150 miles on it and it feels normal now, just had to bed it in.

Glad to see you got your turbo fitted at last mate. Hope you dont have anymore problems now. Please keep me updated on how you get on with it.Any plans to put it on a dyno to see if you have more power?

I'd be surprised if superchips could do a custom map for it - although from my experience their standard remaps are excellent, if i were you i'd consider going for a custom code

They can, Relfex TDI on here has the same spec and got it done with them, a genuine 217bhp and with smoke hardly anymore than stock which is what i want. There are the only tuners to date where ive seen TDIs over 200bhp without smoking all over the place.

wow, you learn something new everyday - If they do it i'd have every faith in them too - every time i've used them in the past they have been first class
