fitted laguna fmic, Question..

fitted my laguna fmic the other day.. so far im pretty pleased with the performance, not really pushed it that far yet tho.. still a bit warey of boost hoses popping off.. lol.

one thing i had a question about is since fitting the fmic, judging by my boost guage it doesn't boost as high in 1st and 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th are fine they spike 21psi hold it for a while and then drops off gradually.. but 1st and 2nd donnt seem to be spiking as high as they did, about 5psi less. Might just be me being a bit soft on the throttle because im a bit warey of hoses popping off but just doesn''t seem right..

Put your foot down, the worst that will happen is a hose will pop off and the car will splutter a bit then stall. Find a quiet road and give it some stick.

Get a spanner out an do the clips up real tight. With the clips i used it was a 7mm spanner needed

tightened them all up with a 7mm socket anyway.. boost pipe popped off last night on a back road... was gutted.. all sorted now tho.. seems to be ok in 1st and 2nd now
