finally got her back!!!!!

finally got my car back on monday night and it felt really strange drivin again.........

after spending £1500 on new wheels, coilovers, driveshaft and whishbone it's back and better than before

but am gettin alot of ratterlin from the exaust so i thing it's time for a new milltek zorst


will try to get some photo's when it's all done!!!!

i dont know if its just mine, but it didnt sit on the rubber holders properly so done a abit of push and shove and no more rattling -

If you dont want rattles dont get a Miltek.... ive been adjusting mine for the past week trying to stop it from rattling... its just a trail and error at the moment...

after i adjusted mine, i had more rattling - found out it was the spare tyre in the boot handnt been properly held down after i got a flatty!

the forge TIP there are 4 nipples coming off it - ones for DV, Breather, N75, whats the other one for?

i dont know what everyones on about with their rattling miltek, i have a miltek with a lowered car (coilovers) and i get NO rattles, none what soever

either your cars are too low or its not installed correctly

you must just be very lucky dude

i installed mine myself so i know its correct and i know what the problem is. the rear box pipework bends over the rear beam but the bend isnt as big as the standard exhaust, so the pipework tends to knock the beam. for a brief few months mine was actually resting on the beam rather the hanging from its mounts. This was about 70mm drop though. more like 40mm now

its also possible that the hangers on the rear box are longer than those on a standard rear box therefore the box hangs lower
i planned to get some shorter exhaust mounts from powerflex but as of yet i haven't been arsed

regarding the miltek and rattles

my ibiza is pretty god damn low on coilovers and my miltek rattles like billio! if anyone has and ideas to stop it that actually work then let me know!!!

Im pretty sure mines vibrating off the rear valance tryed undoing the exhaust clamp and twisting it about but havent found a correct positon yet. only really does it when turning right.!

i couldn't be doig with that! my old powerflow jobbie (came with the car) rattled badly, it was where the bend wasn't big enough to clear the back axle,a nd any passengers in the back used to make it rattle. so much clearance with the blueflame now though. never touches at all.
