Picked this up today..

CopyofDSC00220.jpg

As you can see, it's been "Modified" a wee bit (don't really want to show the front bumper) and I'm not a fan of what's been done..

So, the plan is:

Revert back to standard bumpers
Remove current exhast and replace with something more subtle/standard
Refurb on wheels
General Service for peace of mind
Fit ICE from my old car

Plus a few other misc bits and pieces.

Apologies for the lack of pics, it's horrible weather here!

So yeah, love it! :funk:

Cheers

How much did you pick her up for if you dont mind me asking??I hope you didnt pay to much if you have to spend money on it reverting it back, I think reverting it back to standard would be the best option looking at that rear bumper lol, Is it a 8v? is the front end that bad then? whats the milage etc.....? Nice to see you held out and got what you wanted rather than rushing in to it.

Paid £2000 for it. It's done just over 55k and it's a 16v. Got more budget to sort it all out... it's all reversable..

The front ends not that bad I guess.. but I just haven't managed to get a pic yet. I'll get one tomorrow when the weathers better.

Thats pretty good mate. some nice stock bumpers, lower it a little and get the handles coded and IMO would look pretty pukka!

lol.. my old 'Red-shed' was a loud bugger.. K&N and a twin exhaust.. boy it was 'throaty'.. much prefer a quietish one that gives a 'burble' as you boot it.. only reason I asked is I've a cupra back box sat in my shed ...

I saw that on eBay, I know what it looked like and I know why he won't show the front end! ;)

It'll look awesome with OE bumpers, good luck! :)

You could dare to be different and fit a VW Caddy front bumper to it. They share the same front end, so it'll bolt straight on.

It's an idea I'd consider if I went for a 1.8T in the future.

Just ordered the following:

Front Bumper
Splitter
Standard Exhaust

From my local Seat Dealer - SMC in Windsor. Spoke to Gurdev in Parts, very helpful guy so if you are local I recommend them.

Bumpers, exhaust and neons have gone down very well at work, I'm the butt of the jokes today!
