i have just got a lcr (black 53) i love it!!! but i do have a couple of qustions.
can i change it so when i unlock the car all doors unlock, i have 2 kids so usually putting the youngest in (usually holding her) so to open the drivers door to press a button to open the rest is a bit of a pain.
can i lock the car without having the alarm on? so if i need to run onto the shops i can without getting 2 kids out for the sake of 2mins lol.
i have a new cd player that i got for xmas, i went to halfords and they dont stock the surroundings, wheres the best place to look? seat dealers?

thanks alot!:D

Did you know 2 quick succession presses of the button opens all doors and boot.

1 press just drivers door

Yes there is a button down by the lower right side of drivers seat that will allow you to disable the motion alarm. It will still be alarmed, your kids just wont set it off when they're jumping around.

VAG-COM can change that setting so it unlocked with one button press. I changed this myself as it was bugging me

If you look down the drivers side pillar, between the front and back doors, you`ll find a little button near the floor, if you push that button before you get out you can set the alarm and the kids can move around in the car without setting off the alarm....

When locking the car one press on the key fob locks, alarms and activates the dead locks. If your kids are in the car and the dead locks are activated the will not be able to get out. This might be useful but also might be a bit dangerous. 2 presses on the key fob locks and alarms the car but not the dead locks.

Personally, I never leave my daugher in the car when I'm not in it.

In my experience you can press the keyfob lock button twice which locks the car and sets the alarm but the motion sensors & deadlocks are not set so the alarm does not go off when the kids move around... ... it does however go off when one of them opens the front doors.
I often use it when stopping at the ATM to lift some cash and never had a problem

both of the settings you mention can be changed using vag-com.
I have a guide, but you'll have to wait for it to appear in the SCN guides section - m0rk etc are writing them up soon.
