I was doing my Forge Coolant pipes today, and noticed a few things
had to take off the alloy FMIC pipe and noticed alot of oil in the pipe:
then I noticed a sensor disconnected underneath the inlet manifold, but could not find for the life of me, where it is supposed to be plugged into. I noticed this a while ago, but never got round to posting it until today:
thirdly, looked at the bottom of the cambelt...isn't there supposed to be a cover there protecting it underneath? looked like there was a bolt hole to hold something like a cover.....
oh and for the love of god, DONT fit the Forge coolant hoses, they fit fine and the kit is great quality, but it is an absolute pig to get the old hoses off
I had to admit defeat in the end and didn't fit two pipes (ran out of time on one, and the other I could not get the metal clamp off due to a bolt on top of the gearbox getting in the way) . Will leave those for AMD next time
