looking great fair play, what are you doing stereo wise, we're about to do a mk3 cupra in work soon, we're gonna relocate the fasica panel to the sunvisor and leave the bulk of the unit in the glovebox

that is quite strange dude^^

now it looks a good job...im just not a fan of sticking wood in a car when it slows it down :(

then again the system itself will do this...still every bit of weight is essential...might aswell use a 1.1 at the end of the day?

it'll be a MDF + fibreglass, P40 and P38 filler combo, create a frame using MDF as a base and then use the P40 to build up the final shape and then filler using P38 to smooth it all out and give a smooth as glass finish before trimming/spraying

I know what you mean about the weight issue (power to weight and all that), but i for one HAVE to have a good system. Music is a big part of my life (how tacky does that sound?!) and i just can't be doing with a piss poor setup. All about priorities i guess.

Could IHI it though to overcome the problem a bit?

thats the stuff , the sub box top and door builds are bein sprayed and lauqord in the same paint as the car . the head unit is located in the roof and the rest of the unit is just under the glove box ,

the system will be 2 diamond tdx 15 inch subs and 2 sets of 6inch compnents in the doors, the whole car is couvered in dynamat so no more flexin pannels , then 2 amps for the subs and 1 amp for the doors, not to worried bout the speed lol once the 18s go on it wont be goin any where because it is goin supper low

i have to admit, although that does look proper cool, i am very much a fan of a single 10" sub in a box, as light weight as possible, but gives a good enuff punch to listen to most music. My friend has on of the massive 10k watt JBL subbs. and its so loud it just kills everything else.
I like a sharp, but subtle base line, it thumps, but doesnt over power.
