Feel the wipers through the pedals

i found this thread and its my issue with my new motor, a 97 gti cupra 16v.

when stationary feet on the pedals ie, clutch down brake on, when the wipers move you can feel them. i see from the above thread the clutch cable runs near the wipers so ill check it, im also wandering if the guy in the above topic solved this problem.

pull the wipers and scuttle off and you can see the motor and where the cable runs

might just need clipping out the way

i was wandering what the outcome was of the previous guy with this problem, ill have to have a look at the weekend now.
