Faulty electronics after getting water inside the car?

Hi folks.

Here the other day, my tolly was left outside in the rain with the front left side window halfway down. It rained the whole night, and it was really wet inside the car the morning after.

After this incident, the central locking plays tricks, several buttons affect central locking when theyre not supposed to, and electric windows are not working. Even when i turn on the ignition, the boot locks and unlocks, for some reason. I am currently trying to dry up the car, but the footwell is really soaked!

Anybody with a take on this?

(If it matters, the car is leftside driven.)

I would hazard a guess that the drivers door control panel for the windows and central locking has got wet. Try taking off the inner door card and getting the switch panel out to dry it out properly.
