I have a 64 plate Seat Leon FR 184. Last year my driver side wing mirror stopped folding in. I took it to the mechanic who said it was a faulty door module. So we replaced that and it still doesn’t work.
Next step is to replace the complete wing mirror, but the casing is like new so wondered if it would be possible to just change the insides? Had anyone done this?
Also, are the insides the same as any other VAG models? Thinking of better choice on ebay if they are the same as a different model. The complete electric SEAT Leon wing mirrors are like £130 which is quite steep! If I could save some pennies by just swapping the insides that would be fab! Any advance would be great.
