anyone have any ideas what causes the yellow light beside the headlights one ( cant remember now but theres 3 letters on it) - anyone have any problems with it before? Is it serious? any chance it could be to do with low oil level?

thanks

I've done a search for EPC, and came back with a few people posting problems with the light, one was a clutch sensor on the clutch pedal, and the other was resolved by topping up with oil.

I suppose only Vag-Com will give you the correct error codes to tell where the problem is.

Have you checked your oil level on the dipstick, usually a good place to start ;) ?
