OK our Vario has started to have a couple of problems, went to it about 2 weeks ago and it wouldn't pull very well and but the time I got home (15 mile jouney) I didn't think we would has it had no power at all and just limped back.
Anyway I thought it was fuel filter so I gave it a service, started it and still the same problem, so as I have a tunning box fitted I removed this and all seemed well. To prove it was this at faulty I reconnected it and car still drive and pulled fine.
Anyway I have done about 500miles since then and then again yesterday she started to play up again, when I started her from cold she as hunting very bad, so again I removed the tunning box and when for a drive, this stopped the hunting but she had no or very little power under 2.2k and then you could feel the turbo coming in. parked her up for 20 mins came out and since then all has been well.
I have just put VAG-com on and got these fault codes, now I know the EGR one as it has been removed but anybody got any ideas on the others?
many thanks as always.

Hi I got those codes when i had a tuning box on which was turned up to high, clear them all and go for a drive and it's unlikely they will come back if you don't have the tuning box on. If your tuning box has an adjuster turn this back half a turn or so and those codes shouldn't come up again. I've completely removed my tuning box as i didnt like it seemed to lower my mpg and cause more hassle than it was worth. What ratio of veg oil are you using at the moment?

the tunning box has been removed and I have cleared the fault codes.
As for veg at the mo is would be less that 10% as I got caught short and had to fill with diesel.
But the drive into work this morning the car still held back until 2.5k, you can drive it ok but just a loss of power until the turbo.
Any ideas?

Hmm could be a split in one of the pipes controlling the wastegate or measuring the boost, maybe try logging actual vs requested MAF and MAP and see if that tells any storys.

ok I think I am a plank!
after you post it just clicked, this is a dif. fault to before I serviced the car, anyway just checked and I have left off the clip that holds the pipe onto the MAF when I removed it, it was sitting in the middle of the pipe and has crushed it. I have just refitted it and I can't see and splits so fingers crossed that will fit it.
Time for me to sit in the corner of the room and write out my lines! I am a plank 500 times lol
