Morning guys !

I'm in a bit of a pickle & I can't decide what to do !

I've just got a new job with a massive £10k payrise - and finally I will have some free cash after 12 months (this house buying malarkey is expensive - lol).

Do I.....

A) Remap my existing Leon FR TDI (Is it worth it - is the extra power THAT good?)

B) Trade it in & buy something with some serious power ?

C) Spend the money on hookers & alcohol

:help:

Get the revo trial on the TDI to see what you think, then if you like it look at getting it done (maybe not by revo etc as im not sure what’s rated for the sooooty's)

If not get yourself down the garage and get a nice newer shiny one. Mind you saying that how olds yous, how many miles has it done? How many miles will it need to do? Etc etc etc

Ow and seeing as its Friday go get your self down the pub, then into the massage parlour for some R&R!

Option C, everyday of the week.

But if that didn't go down too well, option B (like a nice 330 diesel...hmmmm)

With that kind of spare money, you should be able to do healthy mix of a) and c).

As for which one is best, obviously that depends on personal taste and what you want it for.

When it comes to remaps, however :cheeky:, obviously Revo is best.

Have you already got your payrise, or is it coming next month?

Don't muck about, just go and do it today. Now, in fact. Ring ADS and tell 'em you're coming :drive1:

Congrats on the job! Roll on the Revo ;)

Is the new job a step up from where you are or something completely different?

id probly go for a remap, saves you alot of money and would still be hard to find and cost you mega bucks to find a car to match upto the fr remapped, pluss the money could go on other mods and still have plent left, of could go down on a deposit for a house

Similar type of job mate - different company

Looks like I'll go down the modding route once more - I had to stop last year when I bought my house.

Now the age old debate - which remap - haha (don't bother saying search, I've seen this thread so many times - lol)

Deposit on a house I would say.....

Myself I ended up remapping my LCR and have spent another £1000 on other bits and two trackdays for the hell of it.... :D

No idea... they look rubbish though in my opinion...

Just had one as a loan car and the interior is boring and the shape is horrible.... Handles well though.

There is no Cupra R fella just the cupra. (They have been re done as FR and Cupra, rather than Cupra and Cupra R)

Im sure i read somewhere its in teh next few months?

Do you like the new shape?

I had an alter 2.0 diesel spotr and really liked it. Great seats and what a sooty lump!

The altea looks better than the Leon as the lines suit a higher vehicle.

The new Leon has poor visibility at the front, found myself having to look round the rear view mirror....! Also what is the point in those tiny little front windows? you can't even see through them...! The side windows are very small too when you sit up in it..... Not impressed guess you get used to it.
