Fastest cupra on forum?

definatley not me, but who thinks they have the fastest cupra on our mk2 forum? be intresting to know who's the quickets of us all, obviously this will probably concern the 16 valve lads the most!

there are people running a mass of mods on 16v engines, but there are also some running 1.8T and VR6 lumps

also is it fastest in a straight line drag or around a track?????

BTW mine is easily the fastest and here is how I worked it out:

2.0 16v engine- 150 BHP

KnN pannel filter = + 100BHP

Cold air feed = + 30 BHP

Shell V-power = 45% extra power

So that's about 420 BHP at the fly, not to mention the fact I'm the one driving the car (ex- F1 driver). So try beating that

On a more serious note, I think to keep it simple, we should have 2 categories:

1. Ibiza's with the "standard" 2.0 16v engine

2. Mk2 Ibiza's with engine transplants

And compare the BHP (dyno graphs are always useful)

or we could just see who has the fastest mk2 cupra be it engine transplant or not! either way somone will have the fastest mk2 on hear! but most likley will be the transplant peoples. just want to see how quick the top runners are!

Well probably the fastest one on here is the pre-facelift blue/purple mk2 Ibiza with a vr6 Turbo conversion

yeah that is probably without a doubt the quickest. but we want to know how quick.... i wouldn't want to be the one paying out for a new set of front tyres every couple of weeks with 400bhp going through two wheels whilst trying to steer it! mig- ill buy you some beans for your b-day mate

Anyways this thread is about cars that have the most BHP/are the quickest to 60 or round the track. Not "I got my 1.4 to 120mph down a hill on the M1", so no need to hate Not to mention that most of the cars that will be mentioned on here are track day weapons anyway, tested to the limits......... on the track.

spot on mig, although 120 is good for a 1.4. you got any times then rocket ronnie? thats still a lot of power! have you got a 0-60 estimate?

Original engine albeit fettled or engine transplant - then you have non cupras with tranplants etc -where do you draw the line?
