"We took my friend's 2001 TT ( which did 486whp before ) to the dyno and intalled a rising rate regulator to keep the car from going lean up on top. We lost some power in the process ( we were only able to get 471whp vs. the 486 we got before, though it could also be because we left the air filter on and the last time when we took it off it gained 20whp.. ) but the A/F ratio was MUCH safer ( mid 11's vs. high 12's before, his is narrowband so the ecu is blind to fueling at wot ) and the powerband was so beautiful it made my shead a tear ( unfortunately I don't have a graph to post up. ).
Anyways.... he went to the track afterwards and in his very first run..... KABOOOOMMMM.... His transfer blew to pieces. So much for indestructable. "
