Since the pollen filter was changed there has been alot of fan noise. On investigation it is coming out from the plastic cover you remove to gain access to the filter itself. There appears to be a recess for a rubber seal or something in this plastic cover but it's not there so presuming this is where the air is escaping from. I've been to Seat but the seal doesn't show up on ETKA, they even ordered a new plastic cover in the hope that the seal came attached to it. Can somebody please have a look to see if they have a rubber seal on there's or offer any suggestions?

Beginning to bug me now as fan strength isn't as good as obviously the air is escaping from where it shouldn't be.

I've removed the pollen filter several times to check if it was fitted wrong and all seems fine so presuming there is a seal missing or something due to the recess for one being there in the cover

Could be blocked up pollen filter. The fan strength in my parents' Ibiza was really low until I cleaned out all the dust and crap and then it went back to normal.
