Faded sills

The black plastic sills on my car have started to really fade and go greyish, i currently use a simoniz product which seemed to be good but could this be the cause ? (maybe just a wear thing). Could somebody recomend a good product that will last or do i need to paint them with something. Many Thanks. Kiearn

Thanks Reg but really i suppose that i'am looking for a more long term solution but if i dont get one then it says this lasts for weeks so will give it ago. Anybody else ?

Firstly give then a damn good clean with diluted APC, then use as Reg says above or even AG bumper gel. Leave this over night then apply a vinyl protector over the AG or CG, that will seal in the oils and prevent the plastic from 'greying'.

APC stands for All Purpose Cleaner

Very handy Products can be used as a Prewash solution, Cleaning Leather and all degreasing your engine bay!! (at different Dilution rates)

I've used both and both work well, i prefer The Carlack as it's smells Less Toxic and doesn't make you choke when you accidently breathe some of the spray in on a windy day
