Hi,

I just bought a new Leon fr and was wondering if anyone managed to get the Ipod track info displayed on the MFD3 RNS510 display?

Also is there a way to get my dvds to play while the car is moving?

hmmm... not sure any manufacturers make DVD whilst on the move unless it's for back seat passengers in a back seat location...no doubt there will be something available though on the www that cuts this feature out.

location , location
Normally if you change from an oem double din to aftermarket dvd , you just ground the parking lead and this lets you play dvd's on the move , but i would never recommend you do this

not sure how the oem units cover this though?

You won't get the MDI option until you have the cable installed - yes it will replace your current ipod dock, most people have the cable exiting in the glovebox so the ipod can be kept in there.

You can buy an MDI unit from Kufatec which is compatible with both type A & B units which will cost you around £240 or you can get a simplified cable which costs around £140 that will only work with the B units :)
