Facia Part

Hi,

This is a long shot I know....

does anyone know the part number and price of the piece of plastic that sits above the standard stereo, as in the bit that surrounds the Hazard flasher, windsreen heater and cup holderbuttons jobbys! (so not the stereo facia for replacing stereos).

Its a long shot i know but ive just damaged mine whilst transporting som new doors back from B&Q. If nobody knows exact numbers would anyone hazard a guess at the damage price wise - it seems that plastic in this form tends to cost a shed load of money for most cars but never had to get any for the seat!

I'm just too impatient to wait to ring the dealer tomo due to being rather narked off!

I don't know the part number but I'm sure I remember reading it wasn't that much to order from a dealer. Maybe somone will post up whose replaced it.

that plastic bit you mention does actually depend on which dash you have (as in CC unit, manual controls, Aircon etc.) Your avatar looks like FR/LCR.
I think this is the bit you refer to (highlighted as part 12)

Part Number as mentioned varies, but assuming you have aircon/cc unit it'd be this: 1M0 863 263 F, but it comes in various colours, so again part number differs.

Price - well, anywhere up to about £20 i'd say.

Its a LCR, no sat nav just default climate control controls.

I was chatting to a mate with a FTO and he was quoted something in the range of 50 nicker for one bit of plastic, which is kinda pricey.

Ill give them a ring tomoro and quote the number and see how much the damage is
