I'm just curious to see if anyone on this site has managed this yet.
Since I bought my mk3 Leon SC FR about a year ago, I've had many people comment on the size of my indicators. Not one to have my ego blunted that easily, but my self confidence is certainly lacking now. In all seriousness though, in the interest of safety I'd like to be more obvious on the road.
I've seen cars about that have had it done, and its evident given the front LED lights are the mk3 lights and tail lights have the LED indicator.
I figured since the light cluster is actually the same shape, how difficult would a straight swap be and how much hardware and coding (if any) would be needed.
I'm not interested in dynamic or non dynamic indicators, but either suggestion would be useful.
If anyone has had it done, if you could share where and how, or any thoughts or photos of the wiring on the light cluster of the face-lift model would be useful.
Thanks.
