I will try get a prtscn done this week end.
With regards to the lighting I was told it was not possible because it is used to show that the lights are not on, so that people do not drive in the dark with DRLs.

It is possible, because I have drove R 2010 with this on!

Are you sure it wasn't that the dipped lights were actually on? My Leon's lights come on 80% of the time when the switch is on 'auto' - a slightly grey/dull afternoon is easily dark enough to trigger them.

I drive Cupra so when I was testing R I check all the details!

100% positive DRL were on and the MFD and ONLY needle was lighting full time during the day!

Ahh... sorry. I thought you wanted the dials/backlighting to light up - not just the needles - with the dipped beam off and the DRLs on.
My facelift Ecomotive has the needles illuminated all the time too, so I guess maybe it's just a facelift thing? I suppose it's possible that its a vag-com adjustable feature but just as likely to be hardware design I reckon.

The question is where exactly to find it with VAS5051, that's the one my dealer has.

sweet ! Had the car for less than an hour and enabled staging and turned off set belt warning - I always wear a belt just dont need remindingevery time.

Ours was a slightly different version to Steve but still worked.

Only works once after an unlock.

Not sure I can leave the locking beep on mind you - its a bit loud!

If you have the large MFD you can turn the beeps on and off. Via the dash once enabled with VAGCOM.

By the way i haven't had time to do a screen dump yet but may do tonight.
