I've found a few threads on here about fitting a fabia rear wiper to the Ibiza, but I cannot find the part numbers required for love or money (Apologies if I am being blind!).....

Basically I know there are specific parts to fit onto a Leon which consist of a mix of hatchback and estate parts. Are they the same ones for the Ibiza or are different ones required? If anyone can confirm the exact parts I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance...

P.S - I would buy the facelift Ibiza one but it's £45 :wtf:

I think the Fabia rear wiper will be a straight fit. I've got a Polo aero rear wiper on mine and think it looks a lot smarter than the Fabia one - might be worth considering

Which fabia wiper is it though? Estate or Hatch or a mix of both? As they come in 3 seperate parts - cap, blade and cover...

I've looked at the aero wiper and prefer the Fabia one TBH....

The Fabia wiper is the Hatch one as far as I know - its not like the Leon that needs a mix of bits to work.

Seriously consider the Polo one though - that's the one tommmineh has posted a link to - its a lot better looking than the Fabia one

Yes - really impressed with it - actually clears the whole arc rather than leaving a good stripe at the top like the standard one!!

Yes, the plastic surround that fits around the motor bit. If you don't it pops off after every rotation. It's a quick job and only need to do one side of it. You'll see exactly what I mean when you get one and pop it on.

Ok, so I have two options, the Vagparts aero wiper or the complete Fabia rear wiper from a hatchback. Does anyone have the 3 part numbers for the Fabia unit so I can price them both up and decide what to get?

isn't that why he wants the hatchback no's not the estate ones, surely the estate rear glass is larger so the arm is longer hence the catching no?

Thanks for your responses guys, as I cant seem to find the part no's I decided to call my local Skoda dealer. They asked initially for a chassis number, which I don't have for a Skoda. So I explained what I'm trying to do and the chap I spoke to said the Fabia hatch wiper won't fit as he has tried this to an Ibiza, aparently the pitch of the screen is totally different and the wiper doesn't sit correctly.... So I might end up having to go for the aero one after all.

If anyone knows different though please post your findings. :D

yeah guy at skoda is right, I fitted mine with a fabia hatch rear wiper and it was hitting the spoiler and also the mk4 ibiza glass is more curved than the fabia ....so some bending of the wiper arm is needed. Heat gun would do the job:lol:
Anyway in those days I understand why getting a fabia one when there is one on the new ibiza models. Just get that one, at least no bending would be needed-straight fit:D

Dash - I would love the facelift wiper for the ibiza, but it's £45 from the dealers!!! I've ordered an aero wiper from Vagparts for £15 for now. Gone with what the majority recommend on here. Thanks guys for the replies...
