Extinguishing Airbag Light?

Took my seats out at the weekend which meant unplugging the airbag connectors, after fitting the seats back in i'm left with my airbag light on. I've taken the seats out plenty of times before and the light has always gone out afterwards.

Will disconnecting the battery for a period of time sort this or am i going to have to get it done via VAGCOM?

only way to get light out is vagcom as once fault trigers system it wont self reset

i did it on my 16v when the light was on

I just set it scanning & walked off for 10 mins just incase
