Exhaust questions

I was wondering if it's ok to drive my car normally if I'm going to put a downpipe with sports cat and cat back exhaust (i.e. turbo-back) to my car without exhaust specific map? Does the engine run on lean mixture or is there some other things that could go wrong with this setup? I have the 1.8 tfsi engine in my car btw. I'm going to get stage 2 map put on my car later on but it could take a couple of months before I'm going to get it.

Hey there,
I have a MK2 Leon Cupra.
I did the full 76mm/ 3" downpipe & full exhaust with no software mate.
I did around 3000km and have no problems yet!

Just waiting to do the Intake, and then 'll do software.
I don't think it will cause a problem.
