Exhaust Opinion

I have just found out my exhaust system is pretty shot, the baffles in the centre section are rattling and the backbox is like a sieve.
I can't find a backbox that I like as I want to keep it looking totally standard.
I'm thinking of buying a Superprint centre section without silencer and fitting a standard backbox.
I'm concerned this may make the car too noisy, has anyone done anything similar??

try buypartsby, £35 + vat for the backbox, seems fairly cheap.

You've answered your own question mate:
you want a centre section WITHOUT the silencers...

minus the silencers, yes its going to be loud

£35 must be for the 16v, mine's an 8v so rear box is £50 :-(

it's only the centre section silencer, not the whole system!!

no mate, i went to look at it thou, i live barnstaple north devon. a couple of seatcupra.net stickers will cover those scratches nicely thou!

got a magnex exhaust centre section up for grabs if thats any use? maybe a full system
