Exhaust hassle!

Hi people. I've been depressed all week! Me & the wife went on a "Scotland Road Trip" last wk in my wee (unmodded) 96 1.9d. Anyway i think the 1000+ miles in 5 days really took it out of her as on saturday... 5mins away from our house the exhaust went! Looks like 1 of the rubbers came undone & the extra weight completly snapped it in half! Both halves are still clamped underneath but it looks (& sounds AWFUL!!) Its snapped 5-6inches in front of the cat on the front pipe. I've tried to fit a sleeve 2 join the 2 2getha again but its just not happenin!

I'm reluctant to buy a 2nd cat & exhaust incase this happens again soon!
So does any1 have any good stores/web-sites where u can get reliable Seat parts?

i NEED to get her back on the road! Hate seening her like this!

id have thought maybe as youve done, a piece of pipe that just fits over the exhaust and 2 clamps would have fixed it? my exhaust is in 2 halves (off a mk3) and this is how the two halves are joined together
