Exhaust For Cupra

Hello all,

I decided to get an exhaust for my cupra. For now i have a p-flow intake and the target is to go for REVO STAGE 2.

My first question is if there is a problem if i put only the downpipe+cat for know and later on the cat-back

And then which exhaust is best?
i see lots of people go for the milltek but the cat-back is 70mm. im also thinking about APR and Blue flame

Any thoughts?

Thanks in Advance

i have the milltek but would defo consider the blueflame they are a bit louder than the non res milly if thats what you want.

i think a couple of people have done just the downpipe+cat then added the cat back later so you should be fine.

Just my 10p,s worth, so don,t shoot me

but,.....................................................

Wouldn,t this be sort of defeating the objective of improving the gas flow out of the turbo with a dp/race cat at 3" ,then sending the gases into a more restricted pipe slowing them down again. In fact wouldn,t it have detrimental effect on the back pressure. I,m sure Milltek advise against this.

Hasn't this already been done by another member on here though? Didn't Poverty and his mate get a couple of downpipes with race cat's made up at Blueflame and have them fitted to their std exhaust's with a healthy increase.

By the way, the Blueflame Turbo Back isn't too boomy

Edited to say though that the plain logic of the matter is larger pipework will exit gase's better.

Maybe with the standar catback i wont get the 100% of the power but for now it doesnt matter...

but if the extra heat can cook the standard cat back system is a problem as SteveTDCi said but is that possible?

For APR isnt any thoughts??
