Hi,

Thinking of getting an exhaust for my FR, and am stuck between either a Jetex or a Milltek..... Jetex - £264.60 and Milltek - £286.49. Both twin round tailpipes.

I would like an exhaust that fills the gap in the rear bumper, so how much bigger are the tailpipes than standard?

Thanks.

Powerflow?

Problem with powerflow is some places are good... some places are bad.

Do supersprint do one as they tend to be of very good quality and less restrictive.

Ive ordered a Milltek from Awsome GTI.

Should get it in a week or so.

After having a Powerflow on my Calibra, I wouldnt touch them again. Started blowing after a couple of months. Was probably down to where i got it from as the guy who fitted it looked about 12 yrs old!

Darth, that Milltek looks pretty sweet!!

Cant wait till I get mine. I got the twin jet tailpipe though.

BHP Addict - When I had my Powerflow, I got it fitted from a place in Coventry. A right bunch of chav's they were! Hence the shoddy fitting! [:@]

Looks a nice light silver in pic

Prob the flash from the camera mate. I didn't take the photo so can't be sure. It's prob the same colour as yours I think, just looks a bit diff' in the photo

Vipers, I didn't realise they did a diff' tailpipe option to be honest but I should think twin pipes will look pretty sweet [B)] . I'm pretty happy with mine as it's similar to the standard LCR's in looks. Sticks out a little more at the back that's all

Ive gone for the resonated cat-back system. they advised at Awesome that if i did a lot of motorway driving, which i do, the non-resonated exhaust can get a little loud and irritating.

I'm in this same boat, from all the stories I have heard about powerflow they are a no go....also as for power gains from the exhaust don't expect too much if any, if you want gains change the piddly manifold the standard exhaust type is fine.

I just after a replace ment that isn't made from rubbish mild steel so milteck one looks best?
