Iam well on my way to upgrading the ibiza, ive just got hold of a brandnew K03s, will be ordering my FMIC and sports cat next week and i was wondering if the EVo Sheild is worth while? any comments are appriciated, And also can anyone think of anythin else i will need on top of the following:

K03s (got)
TIP (ordered)
Fitting kit (got)
FMIC (Ordered)
4 bar FPR (Ordered)
ATP manifold (got)
Down pipe and cat (Ordered)
Remap To do by star performance
Evo shield (Ordered)
FK Highsport Kit (ordered)

Also thinking about putting in some suspension but not sure yet, this is already costing me a fortune but i cant wait to get it done.

Also any comments from you guys that have the k03s on would be nice eg how much different is it from a revo'd car.

Thanks

Matt

Im running an Evo Heatshield kit on my car, superb (compared to other so called Powergaskets).
After the most spiritted run I still find the inlet manifold cool to touch.

Badger5 stocks these.

EVOshield does delay the onset of inlet manifold heatsoak and subsequent ait temp sensor reading higher than it could temps..

It does what it says on the tin.

I want one to how easy are they to fit?

Neil

straight forward.
TIP: Wash down engine over inlet manifold first.. stop grit which sits there from dropping down inlet ports = bad thing

undo existing manifold, ease it away from head
put on new gasket then EVOshield, then other new gasket, refit with supplied longer bolts, torque em up and hey presto done.

you do have to remove and undo a few other bits, inc support bracket from beneath (which I personally leave unconnected)

Allow yourself 45mins and its done.

Tools to have would be 10mm socket and a set of allen(hex) drive sockets to undo the bolts with.

Seems to be rather straight forward just needs a good day so you can take your time and no rushing, rushing = bad fitting and possibly a bodge up.

Recieved my ATP manifold today, looks like a good bit of kit. Comes with new nuts, bolts, washers and a mani-turbo gasket.
