Would you think that my induction kit would of caused the MAF to go ?? i had a pipercross open filter?? i have put the standard one on for now, but only to see if it made a difference but hasnt really??

what is the best sort of filter to go for?? BMC, Viper or just an uprated pannel filter?

yeah pipercross arent oiled from the factory but if you sprayed the oil rentention spray on the filter then thats almost deffinately the cause, that and excessive vibration. BMC is the filter of choice, im running a green panel filter which is good however! just no induction noise!

i didnt spray any oil on it, i like the induction noice, think i may get the exhaust and see how it sounds with standard air pox and if ok then get a pannel filter, BMC wont make any difference in noise will it compaird with standard?

i dont understand my VAG-COM cause it is not showing the USB port only COM1, COM2 etc but it worked ok to get the codes, i then registered it and it stopped working, do you have to install the drivers for the lead first and then VAG-COM?

USB ports are usually mapped through com ports higher up, com4/5/6, in windows. Not sure if the later versions of vagcom have got some sort of built in support for usb?
