Hope all is well.
I am looking at upgrading my head unit to gain access to Apple Carplay. I have seen a few decent head units which seem suitable to me but have a few questions before I make the purchase. The ones I am interested are:
1) What will happen to my settings which enables me to make changes to my drive mode, tyre pressures, folding windows, coming home lights, parking sensors etc? Is there a way to get a new head unit and keep these features? (i have seen the alpine lpine ILX-702LEON Seat Leon 5F 7" Apple CarPlay Android Auto DAB USB Bluetooth Media System, which enables you to access the normal car settings) Would they be a way i can keep the access to the settings?
2) What will happen with my Nav which is currently inbuilt with the current head unit?
3) Is there a way I can gain Apple car play with out changing the original head unit?
