Engine Spec

Looking for help on the spec of an engine a m8 has bought, we hope it's out of a Cupra R (ibiza).

Year: 2001
Engine Code: AYP
Turbo Code: 06A 145 704K, K03-045
ECU Code: 6K0 906 032 AB

The problem we are having is with the turbo, we phoned Seat and they say the ECU is correct for the Cupra R. However they couldn't give us a turbo code and we can only find the turbo code quoted for the Cupra not Cupra R when looking on web sites.

Any help would be great.

turbo for cupra and cupra r are the same, just mapped different

As said the turbos are the same so it really doesn't matter

yep that is a Cupra R ecu code, but as above

Did do a search but got confused as to did it have a k03 or k03s fitted.

Now can go back to trying to fit it into a mk2 golf gti.

Just about to attempt the same conversion into a mk2 8v
Any help would be greatly appreciated even just a few pics or just some handy tips etc... feel free to PM or email me
I would also like to know if the std down pipe will fit or if you have to use a special one from qpeng?
Do you have the whole car or just the engine?
