Engine plugs... can i buy thgem from anywhere?

I need new plugs for the alternator, and also the coolant temp, the bits that are part of the loom, as the alternator one is missing and the wiring going into the coolant one is a bit touch and go.

Can these be bought from the dealer or is there anywhere that sells them?

Noone wants to cut up a 1.8T loom cos they can sell it for a fair amount

This is all for a 1.8T AGU engine btw

i take it you have tried breakers yards/internet to see if there is fire damaged cars/looms about , ebay???

yea tried loads of places, and if any of them have a 1.8T at all, that they wont split the loom

tried VWP mark, they do the 2 pin junior timer housings but not the 2 that i want... maybe theyre VAG specific

All available from the dealers, i had to replace a few when i put my engine in

what sort of price are we talking Ben? something as trivial as a plug i can see dealers charging a bastid fortune for some reason

Couple of quid each usually, wires with pins are available for them aswell if you need them
