engine mounts

just a quick one are the engine mounts in the same place on all leons from 130tdi to the cupra r

I know the Cupra and the LCR are the same for the aftermarket ones.
These cover O2M and O2J, hope this helps

does a bit but really need to know if there in the same place planning on doing an engine conversion but need all the info before i start especially if the dervs are in the same place

Mounting points should all be in the same place although the mounts will probably be different between the models, engines

roly do you fancy doing a derv conversion to my cordy if the mounting points on the cars are the same then might be fun, but need someone thats used to doing conversions?

Mounting points in your cordy are in the wrong place for a leon/toledo tdi engine though, doesn't mean it's impossible just a bit more work to get it fitted in

I'd love to have a go at doing it but not having my own workshop or enough space to work from would be a big problem (don't think i could convince work to let me have a car and engine laying around for potentially months )

worth a try might have to tey something easier like a vr6 or 20vt then
would be nice if i can keep my air con though

I have the OEM engine and transmission mounts off my car, I can send these to you if you want to see and try these to see what the fit would be like.
These have done 90,000 miles so will be shot but just a thought if you want send me a PM

thanks for the offer js but i think that its beyond my capabilities to do the derv conversion so will stick to one that i can do and either put in a vr6 or 20vt from a ibiza cupra
