engine mounts going

has anyone else had trouble with there gearbox mouts going on there ibiza on my cordoba 2003 1.9tdi mine went 2 months ago seat repaied it under waranty and last night it sounds like they are going again if anyone else has had trouble like this what have they done to stop them from going
ps. i have had my car chiped its about 170bhp now

I havnt heard anything, my gearbox got stuck in 3rd once, but dont think that was the problem.

Ive had a engine mount go tho

Does it use the same mounts as a mk3 golf? If so what about a vibratechnics mount?

the dog bone mount on the ibizas is different to the golf/leon , i asked vibratechnics if they do a product for us , they dont dont but can rebush an existing bush with a polyurethane one , cost is around 80 pounds , and if ur reallllllly nice to me i can send u a used oem dogbone to get done by them , so your car isnt off the road , 10mins changes them on your garage floor

will be harsh if you poly all the mounts , the tdi moves quite a bit and if u stiffen it up , it has to go somewhere

i beleive its down to the power of the car now but i asked seat to check the other mounts to see if they're ok they said they are but i'm not so certain

there are a few cars with much higher power than you out there and they havent complained of engine mounts going
