Hello,

(now before you say it, yes i have searched but do you know how many threads come up with the word engine in it!???)

When i change gear usually lower gears, i get a clunk im thinking its an engine mount? opinions?

are there any uprated engine mounts? Ive heard of vibratechincs is that an engine mount?

Most probably is an engine mount, try opening the bonnet and getting a friend to watch the engine when you come up on the clutch with the handbrake on, back end should squat and the engine will move excessively if its the mounts.

Also check all the engine mount bolts.

Road spec mounts would be more than sufficient for what you need.

The Mk3 Cupra uses the same mounts as the Mk3 Golf so all of the listed Fast Road mounts will be compatible with your car, you just need to decide which mount you need to replace.

If funds permit I'd recommend the full set (3 mounts) to eliminate any further issues and aid engine stability.
